Italian fitness and wellness manufacturer Technogym has published its business figures for the first nine months of 2026, recording solid revenue growth despite a challenging macroeconomic environment. CEO and founder Nerio Alessandri characterizes 2026 as a strategic transition year focused on massive investments in future topics such as the transformation from "wellness to healthness".
On the stock market, this phase was reflected in a significant pullback: after reaching highs of over 21 euros in early 2026, the stock retreated into the range of just under 13 euros by autumn. Alongside a general market normalization following strong previous years, this was primarily driven by record investments of approximately 80 million euros openly communicated by management (including the new "Healthness Lab" at the Technogym Village and a new production facility in Slovakia) as well as temporarily subdued capital expenditure budgets among commercial clients. With the release of the Q3 results and the associated stock price jump to nearly 14 euros, the market acknowledged the solid operational foundation and continued growth.
In the first nine months of 2026, group revenue increased year-on-year by 6.1% from 708.5 million euros to 752.0 million euros, and by 6.9% at constant exchange rates to 757.7 million euros. This positive development was primarily driven by the commercial B2B segment, which grew by an above-average 7.1% to 608.3 million euros, accounting for the lion's share of approximately 80.9% of total revenue. The direct-to-consumer (B2C) sector also posted a slight increase of 2.2% to 143.7 million euros. Across distribution channels, the retail segment showed dynamic performance with a strong increase of 23.9% to 29.0 million euros, as did distributors with double-digit growth of 15.0% to 182.9 million euros, while traditional field sales rose moderately by 2.1% to 491.1 million euros. Regionally, Europe (excluding Italy) remained by far the strongest market at 360.1 million euros, followed by the Americas with a robust increase of 9.7% to 121.0 million euros, and the domestic Italian market, which grew by 5.5% to 92.8 million euros.
