Already since 2008, LFPI has been involved with CMG Sports Clubs: It provided the operator with mezzanine financing and is therefore represented on its supervisory board. Currently, 23 clubs in the metropolitan area of Paris are operated under the brand and belong to one of the three club formats “One”, “Waou”, and “Pure”. All three sub-brands are positioned in the premium segment: Waou and Pure offer training sessions in small groups; the Pure facility is located in the centre of the city. With its 64,000 members, CMG Sports Clubs realized revenues of about EUR 50 million in 2015.
The Swiss fitness operator Silhouette Wellness runs 22 facilities in Zurich, Geneva and the canton of Vaud, including two clubs that were opened recently and form a new club format that was likewise named “Pure”. In 2015, the chain had approximately 22,000 members and generated revenues of about EUR 30 million.
LFPI Group is an independent multi-strategy alternative asset manager in Europe with more than three billion Euros of assets under management. It invests in private equity, private debt, real estate as well as asset management investing in Europe, North America and Africa. LFPI intends to continue the cooperation with the current Management of CMG Sports Clubs around CEO Franck Hédin, in order to successfully promote the future development of the fitness chain.
