Founded in Warsaw in 2000, the company laid the foundation for its operational model in 2003 with the introduction of the MultiSport card, an established platform for employee sports benefits. Following its IPO on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) in 2011, Benefit Systems evolved step-by-step into an integrated provider that expanded its portfolio to include the direct operation of fitness clubs alongside digital benefit programs. The acquisition of the MAC Group marks the company's largest international milestone outside its home market to date.
The integration of the MAC Group is driving the group's overall growth significantly. Supported by this expansion and a solid operational performance, Benefit Systems recently posted strong gains: in the first half of 2026, group revenue rose year-on-year to approximately 660 million euros (2.84 billion PLN) with an operating profit (EBIT) of around 132 million euros (568.5 million PLN).
The group's combined network now spans approximately 590 proprietary fitness clubs across Europe and Turkey, alongside more than 2.75 million active sport card users. This transaction illustrates how established, publicly listed platforms from Eastern Europe are acting as cross-border consolidators in the international fitness and wellness market.
