Viva Fitness takes over marea Fitness

The fitness chain Viva Fitness is taking over the five facilities of marea Fitness in Ahlen, Emdstetten, Lingen, Oldenburg and Nordhorn, thus growing to a total of 48 studios. The company plans to double the number of facilities by the end of 2022.

By taking over the five facilities of marea Fitness, Viva Fitness was able to gain 7,500 members and 100 employees. The total membership of Viva Fitness could thus be increased to about 57,500 and the number of employees to about 350.

The goal of the Viva Fitness managers around Viktor Reimchen is to have 100 fitness clubs nationwide by the end of 2022. In order to drive further expansion, another fitness studio chain is to be founded soon, which will be located in the discount segment. The name of the new fitness chain has not yet been decided.
